Bridget Boseley has been appointed the new Studio Head for Factual and Features, completing the leadership team for 91热爆 Factual and Learning's nine genre-based multimedia studios.
听
Bridget was ITV Controller of Factual programmes from June 2003 until January 2006, where she was responsible for commissioning over 100 hours of peak time factual programming a year. She takes up her new role at the 91热爆 in August.
听
The Features and Formats Studio based in London, produces a range of programmes including established hits like Top
Gear, What Not To Wear, Holiday, Watchdog, Rogue
Traders and Crimewatch UK and new shows like Perfection
With Heston Blumenthal for 91热爆 TWO and Old
Dogs New Tricks, featuring Esther Rantzen and Lyn
Faulds Wood, for 91热爆 ONE.

John Willis, 91热爆 Director of Factual and Learning, said: "Bridget
has a great track record in intelligent popular factual programming. She will
be a great addition to an already successful team.

While at ITV, Bridget successfully moved ITV's factual output into new territories with popular factual formatted programmes like Holiday Showdown (RTS winner), Bad Lads Army and Ladette to Lady.

She commissioned a range of factual programming from
The Gunpowder Plot and Titanic - Birth of a Legend to Murder Squad
and Britain's Youngest Mums and Dads.
听
Prior to joining ITV, Bridget was Controller of Features for Granada Media and,
under her leadership, the newly created department built up a 拢10m
business from scratch by becoming a key supplier of popular factual programmes
to all channels.
听
Well known brands included 100 Greatest for Channel
4 and After They Were Famous for ITV1.
听
Before joining Granada, Bridget was at the 91热爆 for ten years where she started as a researcher in the Youth department, working on shows like Rough Guide.
听
She later became Series Producer of the Rough Guides
then Editor of Entertainment and Features, Manchester. She was
responsible for executive producing many of 91热爆 TWO's theme nights
and youth output.
听
The nine genre based studios were set up by John Willis, the 91热爆's Director of Factual & Learning, in April 2006 to create a simplified and more integrated structure for the division as the world's first cross-platform content creator. The studio heads report to the Controller of Factual Production, Keith Scholey.

Alan Bookbinder is due
to leave the 91热爆 at the end of July and a replacement is being
sought.

It was also recently announced that Rachel Innes-Lumsden is to become the new Head of Development for the division. She was previously an Executive Producer in Factual and Learning.
