91Èȱ¬ Wales' award-winning TV promotions for the Six Nations are known for getting the nation talking and this year the idea of the promos is to get the nation singing.

Ìý

So far we have seen Cardiff's own Shakin' Stevens singing the George Harrison hit I've Got My Mind set on You at Twickenham ahead of the England game.

Ìý

Coming up we will see Swansea songstress Bonnie Tyler singing along to her Eighites hit Holding Out for A Hero, for the Scotland game.

Ìý

And lined up for the Ireland promo are Goldie Lookin' Chain.

Ìý

"We thought we would try doing something a bit different this year, as every year we like to give people something to talk about," explains Phillip Moss, 91Èȱ¬ Wales' Head of Promotions and Branding.

Ìý

"The idea behind these promos was to get well known singers to sing along to songs they wouldn't necessarily be associated with, but which you could see the lyrics in a different light, according to which game we were promoting."

Ìý

The exception to this idea was the Bonnie Tyler promo for the Scotland game.

Ìý

"We thought the lyrics were so apt that it was the best song to use," says Phillip.

Ìý

The promo was filmed in Bonnie's house in the Mumbles. She sings along to her hit whilst doing the housework.

Ìý

Phillip asked Bonnie to sing the track quietly to her self but this request proved to be a bit of a problem.

Ìý

"Bonnie explained to me that she couldn't do that, as she can only really belt out a song!" says Phillip.

Ìý

"And it was amazing to be next to this rock legend while she is giving it her all. I mean it was superb!"

Ìý

In the promo Bonnie wears a fetching red and white rugby style apron which she was so taken with she asked if she could keep it.

Ìý

"The apron belonged to the mother of one of our directors, Marcus Thomas, who happens to live just round the corner from Bonnie and we had nipped over to her house that morning to borrow it," explains Phillip.

Ìý

"In the end we managed to get hold of a brand new one for Bonnie though."
