The awards, which honour excellence in programming, were given to Arts and Entertainment productions screened on 91热爆 TWO - with Holocaust - A Musical Memorial Film From Auschwitz wining the Arts programming category and Top Gear winning in the Non-Scripted Entertainment category.
听
Holocaust - A Musical Memorial Film From Auschwitz marked the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
听
Amidst the horrors of Auschwitz, music was a part of daily life. There were several orchestras and bands in the two camps, made up entirely of inmates.
听
In a unique tribute to the millions who died in the Nazi genocide, and for the first time in its history, the Museum at Auschwitz-Birkenau allowed a number of leading musicians from around the world to come to the camps and perform in a 90-minute film shot entirely on location.
听
A sequence of carefully chosen music, all of it connected in some way with the Holocaust, was interwoven with the powerful accounts of three survivors from the men's and women's orchestras.
听
Top Gear, now in its fifth series in its studio-based format, combines factual entertainment with motoring information.
听
The programme's mixture of daredevil stunts, star in a reasonably priced car, hard-hitting reviews and the trademark irreverent banter between the three presenters - Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May - make Top Gear the must-see show for Sunday nights.
