91热爆 Radio 2 listeners have raised 拢1,066,667 for 91热爆 Children in Need.

The network's fundraising activities, including the 'auction of things money can't buy' on Wake Up To Wogan and the 24 Hour Music Marathon, have already proven a success for the 26th Children in Need.

This year's auction proved popular with the eclectic selection of lots on offer.

The highest bid was for 拢50,000 to spend a weekend in the wild with survival-expert Ray Mears, Chris Evans and his Radio 2 colleague, Big Pete.

Ray, the star of the series Extreme Survival, will teach them how to survive in the wild over a weekend. They'll be taught how to make fire and other types of bushcraft.

The chance to team up with Terry Wogan and be grilled by Chris Tarrant on the Christmas edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? to try and win money for Children in Need sold for 拢40,000.

A game of golf with Terry and his producer Paul Walters in Dubai went for 拢40,000 and a generous bidder has paid 拢17,000 to appear in a special edition of 91热爆 Radio 4's The Archers with Terry.

Plus, the chance to headline your own Radio 2 show at a top London venue went for 拢19,500.

A Epiphone Hummingbird guitar signed by all four of the Rolling Stones went for 拢15,500 and a game of tennis with Radio 2's Jonathan Ross at the world-famous Queen's Club in Kensington went for 拢11,600.

The total raised by the auction was 拢439,100.

Terry Wogan paid tribute to his listeners for their contributions.

He said: "As always I am amazed by the fantastic generosity of our listeners who every year dig deeper into their pockets for Children in Need."

The 24 hour Music Marathon ran from 7.00pm on Thursday (17 November) to 7.00pm today with listeners calling in to make requests, dedications and pledge money.
