Online rights for UK listeners

On the eve of the climax of the Grand Prix season - the eagerly anticipated Chinese Grand Prix - 91Èȱ¬ Radio Five Live has retained the rights to Formula 1 racing for a further three years until the end of the 2008 season, it was announced today.
Ìý
And for the first time UK listeners will be able to hear Five Live commentaries online next season via bbc.co.uk/sport, completing the 91Èȱ¬'s UK streaming rights to all of the main domestic sports events in its portfolio.

Five Live Controller Bob Shennan said: "This is a very important deal for us and we're delighted to bring online commentary to UK listeners next season."

As well as live commentary on the races throughout the season Five Live will feature news and features within Sport on Five every week, including live previews from the circuit ahead of race weekends and interviews with the sport's main players.
