The 91Èȱ¬ is searching the world for the winner of a unique new award.

Teaming up with the Yorkshire Tourist Board's White Rose Awards, 91Èȱ¬ Yorkshire today (Monday 12 September) launches the Yorkshire Moments Award to celebrate exceptional memories of God's Own County.
Ìý
Head of regional and local programmes, Tamsin O'Brien, said: "We want people to tell us about places in this region that have given them special moments - and the 91Èȱ¬ will honour the best of the stories at this year's White Rose Awards.

"Perhaps the moment is a wedding, a Yorkshire sporting event, perhaps someone discovered a long-lost relative or celebrated the birth of triplets.
Ìý
"Whether you live in Yorkshire or on another continent, if you have an inspirational memory set in the region, we want you to share it with us."
Ìý
To enter for the award, people need to explain your Yorkshire Moments memory, including:
Ìý
- what place your Yorkshire Moments memory is linked to
- why you were there
- and when
- do you still visit the place or are you still linked to it in some way?
Ìý
...And all in no more than 100 words.
Ìý
The winner will be presented with their award by 91Èȱ¬ Look North's Harry Gration and Christa Ackroyd during the glitzy awards ceremony on Tuesday 4 October at York's National Railway Museum.
Ìý
The winner will then be treated to a night in one of York's premier hotels.
