Graeme Le Saux will join 91Èȱ¬ Radio Five Live's football punditry team for the new football
season.

The former England international, who recently
retired from the game, will be joining Five Live's roster of commentators
when the season kicks off with the Coca Cola leagues on 7 August and
the Premiership on 13 August.
Ìý
Five Live once again promises to bring to the listener
an unrivalled array of coverage of every game, right through the season.
Ìý
Last season, 2004/5, Five Live broadcast more football
commentary and reports than any other broadcaster, commentating on
329 matches including Premiership, Coca Cola Cup, European, Scottish and
womens' games - with a further 83 on sister station Five Live
Sports Extra.
Ìý
With a reporter at every game, Five Live has the most
comprehensive coverage and expert analysis of the new season.

There will be input from key Premiership managers and
players including Alan Curbishley, Matt Holland, Gary Speed
and Kevin Campbell. Mark Clemmit
also rounds up the Coca Cola leagues.

the award-winning Alan Green, Chief Football Correspondent
Mike Ingham, Jonathan Legard, Simon Brotherton, Nigel Adderley,
John Murray, Ian Brown, Conor McNamara, Ian Dennis, Darren Fletcher

on Five on weekday evenings (Monday to Thursday from
7.00 to 10.00pm). Mark Pougatch presents on Fridays
(7.00-10.00pm) and Saturdays from noon.

Eleanor Oldroyd presents Sunday's
Sport on Five from 1.00pm, bringing listeners all the
action, results, interviews, and behind-the-scenes news.

Looking forward to England's busy qualification schedule
in the run-up to the World Cup in Germany, the commentators are backed
by an expert team of analysts including England internationals
Terry Butcher, Chris Waddle and Jimmy Armfield
as well as former England Manager Graham Taylor and
former QPR and Chelsea player Gavin Peacock.

Alan Green is one Five Live's most
senior football commentators, and winner of a Sony Radio Academy Award
for Sports Broadcaster Of The Year. He estimates that he sees between
100 and 120 matches a season.

Alan has won the admiration of fans for his honest assessments
of games and players' performances, and fans of his inimitable style
will be keen to hear his uncompromising opinions of players' and teams'
performances in the 606 phone-in.

Mike Ingham, 91Èȱ¬ Radio's Chief Football
Correspondent, took up his post when the legendary Bryon Butler
retired ten years ago. He has been commentating on football for the
91Èȱ¬ since 1984, and with Alan Green makes up Five Live's senior
commentary team. Authoritative and professional, his experience of football
is respected throughout the game.

Graeme Le Saux was a Premier League
winner - with Blackburn Rovers in 1995 - and England International. He
won FA League Cup and European honours during two spells at Chelsea
before joining Southampton. He retired in 2005.

Mark Saggers is the host of Midweek
Sport on Five from Monday to Thursday. Mark's broadcasting
career has encompassed local and national 91Èȱ¬ Radio, as well as a spell
at Sky News.

Terry Butcher, a Five Live regular,
is an ex-England and Rangers defender who won 77 caps for his country.
He is Manager of Motherwell FC and previously won honours at Ipswich
and Rangers as a player.

Mark Pougatch is a key presenter right
across Five Live and regularly hosts Five
Live Breakfast and Drive.
He presents Five Live's Sport on Five
every Friday and Saturday throughout the football season, ensuring listeners
get all the sporting results as they happen.

He is a general sports voice and a golf expert, covering
the recent Open.
Ìý
Eleanor Oldroyd is the first-ever women
to have presented the iconic Sports
Report on Five Live. She has reported on sport
for the 91Èȱ¬ since 1984, starting as a sports reporter on local radio
in Worcestershire and Shropshire.
Ìý
She started at Radio 1 Newsbeat in 1988 and has reported
on the 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004 Olympics. Ellie has been a key voice
on Five Live since it started in 1994, and will present Sport
on Five on Sundays.
