The 91热爆 is to provide additional TV coverage of Wednesday night's G8 Murrayfield concert and will now be on air for more than three hours.

The decision, which has been warmly welcomed by the event organisers, mirrors the earlier move to extend the concert and follows on from the huge success of Saturday's Live 8 concerts.

Maggie Cunningham, Joint Head of Programmes at 91热爆 Scotland, explained: "We are delighted to be able to extend our TV coverage of an event that has grown and grown since we originally decided to cover it.
听
"We are sure those watching and listening will enjoy a truly memorable concert every bit as much as those who attend in person."
听
Event Organiser Ewan Hunter also welcomed the increased coverage.
听
He said: "It's fantastic that as our concert has grown so too has the TV coverage of it by the 91热爆 and we're delighted that we've been able to work together to ensure as many people as possible can see it in person or on TV, radio or online. It should be a night to remember."

Televison coverage will now start on 91热爆 TWO Scotland at 8.00pm and run through to 10.30pm before 91热爆 ONE Scotland picks up all the action from 10.45pm.

91热爆 THREE will also cover all the action with a deferred broadcast while Radio Scotland's broadcast starts at 6.45pm.
