Ìý
The notice is available on www.ojec.com.
Ìý
This procurement process follows the restructuring of the 91Èȱ¬/Land Securities Trillium (LST) property partnership, announced on 12 May 2005, under which the 91Èȱ¬ and LST are refocusing their relationship to concentrate on their joint property developments and LST will no longer provide facilities management services to the 91Èȱ¬.
Ìý
The 91Èȱ¬ is now looking for a supplier or suppliers to undertake:
Ìý
Facilities management services for its buildings in London and Scotland including: building engineering services, building fabric maintenance, cable management, car parking, caretaking, catering and hospitality, cleaning and housekeeping, conference room management, customer service centre, health and safety, landscaping and planting services, management of office 'hubs' (kitchen/meeting/ reprographics areas), office reorganisation ('churn'), pest control, porterage, post room services and printing services.
Ìý
Specialist facilities management services for all 91Èȱ¬ properties across the UK including: asbestos management, lift maintenance, statutory inspections, and holding and maintaining CAD drawings (Computer Aided Design).
Ìý
The contracts are for five years, with a view to starting in April 2006 and an option to extend for a further three years.
Ìý
The 91Èȱ¬ is happy to consider separate contracts for London and Scotland as well as one contract for both regions.
Ìý
Similarly, the 91Èȱ¬ is happy to consider a separate bid for the specialist services, or combined bids for both regions and the specialist services or a single region and the specialist services.
Ìý
Potential bidders will have the opportunity to attend a briefing event at the 91Èȱ¬ on Thursday 14 July 2005.
Ìý
Please refer to the OJEU notice for details of the application process, including how to access the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
Ìý
The 91Èȱ¬'s portfolio in London and Scotland comprises 82 properties in London (approx. 551,000 m2) and 32 in Scotland (approx. 56,000m2) of combined office and studio facilities.
Ìý
The buildings accommodate around 18,000 people across the two regions.
Ìý
The Scotland property portfolio will include the new Glasgow development, Pacific Quay, due for completion in March 2006 and representing approximately 60% of the overall m2 in Scotland.
Ìý
The London portfolio will include the new 80,000m2 development at 91Èȱ¬ Broadcasting House.
Ìý
The 91Èȱ¬ will issue another OJEU notice soon for construction management contracts for its UK property portfolio.
