A new entertainment quiz show for 91Èȱ¬ Radio Scotland based around Scots dialect and language is being recorded in four Scottish locations this month.

Your Word Against Mine is hosted by Cameron Stout and features eight competing teams from Shetland to Dumfries with the emphasis very much on laughter.
Ìý
One round of the quiz asks teams to decide which definition of an obscure Scots word is true or false... plus many more fun-packed rounds.
Ìý
First up, it's the The North East v Shetland on Monday 20 June at Inverurie Town Hall.
Ìý
Then it's Argyll v Perth & Kinross on Tuesday 21 June at St Andrew's Church Hall in Crieff, followed by Dundee v Glasgow on Wednesday 22 June at Pollokshields Burgh Hall in Glasgow.

Finally it's Dumfries & Galloway v The Borders on Thursday 23 June at St George's Church Hall in Dumfries.

Perth & Kinross features one of Scotland's most famous mums, Carol McGregor;
Ìý
Argyll's team leader is prominent local character and Oban FM presenter, Col McDougal;
Ìý
in Glasgow, it's stand-up comic Susan Morrison - described as bolshie, brassie and feisty, she is compere at The Stand Comedy Club;
Ìý
Dumfries & Galloway has Liz Niven, a published author and poet;
Ìý
and in Dundee Sheena Wellington, one of Scotland's leading traditional singers, takes the helm.

If you would like to attend the recordings, tickets are available on the door at each of the venues.
Ìý
Doors open 6.30pm. Audience seated by 6.45pm. Recordings start at 7.00pm sharp, except Crieff which starts at 7.30pm.
