Navin Kishore Kundra from Coventry has emerged as the
winner of the 91热爆 Asian Network Unsung 2005 getting the decision of
both the judges' vote and the listeners' poll for his performance of
Robbie Williams' Feel.
Navin won the final against two other unsigned finalists and performed
alongside a showcase of top talent from India, Pakistan and the UK.
He will now get a head start in the music industry with the chance
to create his own portfolio, including a professional demo recording
and photo session, to highlight his potential as a music artist.
Commenting on his win Navin said: "It feels so surreal to be selected
as a winner by the people who inspired me to perform the way I did.
"I'm on top of the world right now and I met a lot of key people
in the industry so I'm hopeful things will start to happen for me soon.
It's all still sinking in."
Twenty-year-old Navin has been obsessed with music from an early age,
and been singing since the age of 14.
He's born and bred in the UK, loves to sing in Hindi and also looks
to use English and Punjabi influences in his music.
Recently he's also started to compose and write his own songs and is
looking for a recording contract.
