91热爆 Wales once again dominates the shortlist for this year's Bafta Cymru awards with a massive 37 nominations across 25 of the 32 categories.

Period network drama Carrie's War dominates the shortlist with a total of eight nominations in categories for the Best Drama for Television, Best Director of Photography: Drama, Best Sound, Best Design, Best Costume, Best Make-Up, Best Original Music Soundtrack and Best Director: Drama.

With a new series about to start, popular 91热爆 Wales drama Belonging has received five nominations, including one for Best Drama Serial. Among its other nominees are Charles Dale for Best Actor, Di Botcher for Best Actress, Ray Orton for Best Director of Photography: Drama and Jason Sutton for Best Screenwriter.

Pobol y Cwm is also flying the flag for 91热爆 Wales drama, with nominations for Best Drama Serial, Huw Euron for Best Actor, and Best Lighting Director: Not Camera.

Bread of Heaven with Huw Edwards gets five nominations - for the Best Documentary, Best Camera: Non Drama, Best Sound, Best Director with front-man Huw Edwards up for the Best On-Screen Presenter.

91热爆 Wales' New Media department also scores highly, with bbc.co.uk/paintingflowers and education website bbc.co.uk/tacteg in the running in the Best New Media Film or TV Related category, and the innovative bbc.co.uk/vocab up for nomination in the Best New Media Not Film or TV Related.

Other nominations include hard-hitting drama May 33rd ( Best Drama for Television), Week in Week Out and Dragon's Eye special on the Clywch Report (Best Current Affairs), consumer champion programme X-Ray (Best Magazine/Feature Programme), Jonathan (Best Light Entertainment), Bobinogs (Best Children's Programme and Best Original Music Soundtrack), Battlefield Britain (Best Sound), Ellen MacArthur and Star Spangled Dragon (Best Editor), Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru and Y Clwb Rygbi Rhyngwladol (Best Live Coverage/OB Team) and Llion Iwan for Best Director.
