Frances Finn biography
Ìý
Frances Finn - known as Fran - trained as a radio journalist in 1996 and was offered her first day's work at the 91Èȱ¬ early in 1997.
Ìý
That day was at 91Èȱ¬ Radio Derby and one day's work turned into a few weeks, and then a few years!
Ìý
She was thrown in at the presenting deep end in 1999, and has been in front of the microphone pretty much ever since.
Ìý
After doubling the audience of the Lunchtime Show at Radio Derby, she moved to Radio Nottingham 18 months ago.
Ìý
She has enjoyed presenting the Late Show - which is broadcast on seven stations around the Midlands - but is looking forward to working during the day so she can free up her evenings to spend more time with her husband, Gerry.
Ìý
Now living in Nottingham, Fran's hobbies are motorbiking - she passed her test last December and now rides a Suzuki SV 650S - tennis, cooking, sea fishing and snow boarding.
Ìý
She plays several musical instruments and has been in rock bands in the past.
Ìý
Fran is also involved with her local Anglican church in Woodthorpe.
