Inside Out, the Royal Television Society (RTS) award-winning series which gives a compelling and entertaining insight into the unusual aspects of life in the region, returns to 91热爆 ONE South West on Monday 10 January.

The investigative team led by Sam Smith are back to uncover more surprising stories from familiar places across the South West.

Farmers are always advised to diversify and become better businessmen but this can be easier said than done.

Anthony Lee, an organic pig farmer from Crediton, is trying to market his porkers more effectively.

He enlists the help of Mark Bury, a former marketing executive turned farmer, who offers advice on how to sell his Pink Pig products - but will their combined efforts succeed in improving the farm's image and success as a business?

Sam Smith investigates the pitfalls of buying a 'park' home - a mobile home on a site with similar homes.

Buyers often decide against using a solicitor when they purchase these homes as they are cheaper than permanent homes but this decision can cause serious problems further down the line.

Russell Labey takes a trip down the River Fowey in Cornwall, the inspiration for Kenneth Grahame's classic children's book The Wind in the Willows, to see how the real ratty, mole and badger have fared.

Ratty was of course a water vole, and Russell finds out how the real life creatures are surviving along our river banks.

Commenting on the new series, Sam Smith says: "What I love about Inside Out is the mix - serious investigations alongside quirky features and human interest stories.

"It means I get to do what I love best - reporting on the issues that I know people in the region care passionately about and I know the viewers love the lighter stories we do too.

"The start of a new series is always exciting and this one is set to be the best yet."

The last series of Inside Out received The Best Regional Feature Magazine award at the recent RTS Devon and Cornwall Awards and Sam Smith was named Reporter of the Year.

The new series of nine Inside Out programmes begins on 91热爆 ONE South West, Monday 10 January at 7.30pm.
