On Thursday 13 January 2005, pop superstars Duran Duran
perform a special concert for 91热爆 Radio 2 at the Hammersmith Palais,
London.
Under the banner of the highly successful Live & Exclusive Radio 2
concert series, the five original members of Duran Duran - Simon
Le Bon (vocals), Nick Rhodes (keyboards),
John Taylor (bass), Andy Taylor (guitars)
and Roger Taylor (drums) - perform music from their
new album Astronaut, which was released in October to rave reviews,
alongside some of their classic hits.
January's show takes place in front of an audience made up of Radio
2 competition winners and members of the Duran Duran fan community.
Details of how to win tickets are broadcast on Radio 2 starting today
(15 December) and on bbc.co.ukradio2.
A broadcast of the show can be heard on Radio 2 on Saturday 29 January,
9.30-10.30pm, just days before the band's second single from their new
album - What Happens Tomorrow - is released.
Commenting on the upcoming date, lead singer Simon Le Bon said: "This
will be our first show of the New Year - before we head off for the
Astronaut World Tour, which kicks off in Japan in late January.
"Over the last few weeks, we've been working on the live arrangements
of the new material from the album and are now very much looking forward
to playing them for our fans."

Artists who performed Live & Exclusive for Radio 2 in 2004 include
R.E.M., Elton John, Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, Tom Jones & Jools Holland,
