Pudsey's poptastic party in Gloucester with Brian McFadden and Skandi Girls

Brian McFadden, the can-can kicking Skandi Girls and Keisha White have been announced as the headlining acts for this year's 91热爆 Children in Need concert in Gloucester.

The energetic and hugely entertaining acts will perform to an audience of up to 7,000 music fans at the Barbican Car Park, Ladybellegate Street on Friday 19 November.

The free musical feast will be play a key role in the popular Children in Need fund raising TV event on 91热爆 ONE.

Chris Vacher and Susan Osman will be presenting regular inserts from the concert for viewers in the West whilst former Pop Idol judge Nicki Chapman will be linking live from the event to the whole of the UK.

Two local bands have been selected to take centre stage at the concert.

The Last Taxi, a three piece male group from Cheltenham with a Spanish influence, will bring an unique style of music to the event.

Sub-ska funk fusion band MuneStomp will also provide plenty of entertainment.

Sarah-Jane Bungay, Children in Need producer for 91热爆 West, says: "This is a terrific line-up! We are delighted to secure such excellent bands for our free concert in Gloucester.

"The mix of chart topping pop acts and a variety of local talent is guaranteed to provide the audience, both at the concert and at home, with an evening of top entertainment.

"The concert will hopefully contribute to raising a lot more money for this year's Children in Need appeal."

Last year, the nationwide appeal raised a record-breaking 拢30m from which 91热爆 Children in Need gave grants to registered charities, alongside voluntary and community groups, supporting youngsters aged 18 and under.

Gates open for the event at 5.00pm. The first 7,000 attendees will gain entrance the concert which starts at 7.00pm.

This 91热爆 Children in Need Appeal concert is supported by Asda.

91热爆 Children in Need employs no professional fundraisers and relies on the generosity and imagination of the public to raise money for children who desperately need help.

Every penny of every pound donated by the public goes to children who need it.

The 91热爆's first broadcast appeal for children took place in 1927, in the form of a five-minute radio broadcast on Christmas Day. It raised about 拢1,143 which equates to about 拢27,150 by today's standards.
