Norwich City FC Antiques Roadshow

To celebrate the 91热爆s of Football Exhibition at The Forum in Norwich, 91热爆 Voices and the Norwich City Football Club Historical Trust have teamed up for the first ever Norwich City FC Antiques Roadshow at The Forum in Norwich.

It takes place on Sunday (26 September) from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Entry is free.

It聮s a chance for people to show their Canary memorabilia to members of the trust and have them valued by antiques experts Mike Hicks and Andrew Bullock.

It may be a signed football, letter from a player, a referee's whistle from a winning match. It's also an opportunity to have a go at recording your own sports radio commentary.

The trust hopes to set up a museum at the club and is keen to hear from people willing to donate or loan items to their collection.

It is possible that those 'tucked away' items people have been keeping in drawers and attics could end up pride of place in a future Norwich City Football Club museum.

The trust already has items such as medals and caps from Joe Hannah, one of the all time Canary legends. He
was born in Sheringham and toured Australia as part of an FA selected team in the Twenties.

It has a tracksuit top worn by manager Dave Stringer, as well as shirts off the back of players who took the team into the Premiership this time around.

The trust will bring some of these with them 聳 and ex-Canary favourite Bryan Gunn has also promised to loan items from his own personal collection especially for the day.

So even if people don't have their own memorabilia, they can still come along and see what others have got, as well as viewing treasured mementoes from the club's past.

Be a commentator for a day

As an additional attraction to the Antiques Roadshow, between noon and 2.00pm people can also try their hand at football commentary with the help of 91热爆 Radio Norfolk's Chris Goreham.

Fan's Eye View of Norwich City

91热爆 Voices and the Norwich City Football Club Historical Trust will be giving people the chance to add their favourite pictures and memories to the album they are building on bbc.co.uk/norfolk.

It is made up entirely of photos taken by fans - from this season and decades gone by.

If people have material that the trust might be interested in, call Club Secretary Kevin Platt on 01603 617411.
