91热爆 Hereford and Worcester presenters are relocating to unusual locations, over the course of four days, to help raise money for four local hospices.

The four presenters, Nathan Turvey, Andrew Easton, Dave Bradley and Mike George are taking to the streets of Hereford and Worcester to raise much needed funds for hospices in the local area.

Drive Time presenter Nathan Turvey kicks off the fund-raising events on Tuesday 28 September when he broadcasts his show from the supermarket checkouts of Morrisons (formerly Safeway) in Bromsgrove, between 4.00 and 7.00pm. All proceeds go to Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove.

Wednesday 29 September sees a virtuoso solo performance from Early Breakfast Show presenter Andrew Easton. Andrew is busking near WH Smiths in High Town, Hereford between noon and 2.00pm, collecting money for St Michael's Hospice at Bartestree as he plays.

A bath full of compost near Woolworths in the Swan Centre, Kidderminster, is the setting for Dave Bradley to present his Afternoon Show on Thursday 30 September, between 1.00 and 4.00pm. Listeners who want to go down and see this amazing feat and donate some money to Kemp Hospice, just need to follow the smell!

Last, but certainly not least, on Friday 1 October, between 11.00am and 2.00pm, Breakfast Show presenter Mike George is set to have visitors to St Richard's Shop in Mealcheapen, Worcester in creases when he takes the shirts from their backs... and irons them in return for a donation to St Richard's Hospice, Worcester.

James Coghill, Managing Editor, 91热爆 Hereford and Worcester, says: "We are putting all our efforts into helping to raise money for these four local charities.

"The presenters are all geared up and are raring to go in their individual challenges and hoping that the public will come along and support them and the hospices in their hard work."

Notes to Editors

Hospice Information

St Richard's Hospice is currently trying to raise 拢5.25m for a brand new unit with beds. It currently occupies a building on London Road, Worcester which is too small and only suitable for day patients.

Kemp Hospice, Kidderminster is about to move to an old hotel which it has purchased and hopes to transform into a bedded hospice. It hopes to be ready to move to the site before the year is out.

Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove has a day hospice in the town and a palliative care bedded unit at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital.

St Michael's Hospice at Bartestree near Hereford has been established at its present site for nearly 20 years. It has improvement and expansion plans and is also aware that much of their equipment and fabric is beginning to wear out.
