The 91热爆 today announced that it has signed an exclusive three year deal with the prestigious Music Of Black Origin awards (MOBOs).

The deal will see Europe's biggest and most credible black music awards ceremony being screened on 91热爆 ONE.

In previous years the ceremony has been a showcase for some of the best UK and international black music artists including 50 Cent, Destiny's Child, Jamelia and Big Brovaz.

Lorraine Heggessy, Controller of 91热爆 ONE, said: "The MOBOs are the country's premier awards for the best in black music and 91热爆 ONE is the perfect platform to reach the widest and most diverse audience with this fantastic event."

Kanya King, MOBOs Director, added: "We are really pleased to be working with the 91热爆. It will allow us to reach the biggest possible audience which we believe will guarantee the greatest possible opportunities for the artists and the music."

The nominations for this year's MOBOs will take place in late August with the ceremony itself coming from the Royal Albert Hall on 30 September.

The MOBO's are also commissioned by Jane Lush, Controller Entertainment Commissioning.

Update (24 August 2004) - The MOBO Awards will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday 30 September.

91热爆 ONE will broadcast the ceremony on Wednesday 6 October at 10.35pm.
