Mark Easton
has been appointed as 91热爆 Editor for 91热爆 News.

Currently the 91热爆 and Social Affairs Editor at Channel
4 News, Mark succeeds Niall Dickson and will begin at the 91热爆 on 19
April.
听
Adrian Van Klaveren, the 91热爆's Head of Newsgathering,
said: "I'm delighted that Mark is returning to the 91热爆 in the vital
role of 91热爆 Editor.
听
"He is someone who will be able to explore the
big themes and issues facing the UK with insight, flair and originality.
听
"His work in both daily news and in current affairs
has shown an exceptional ability to combine context and analysis with
memorable story telling."

Mark began his 91热爆 career as a reporter on the South
East magazine programme London Plus in 1986, before moving to Breakfast
News and then on to Newsnight in 1989.
听
He joined ITN in 1996 as Political Editor of Channel
Five News, and moved to Channel 4 three years later.
听
He has made a number of documentaries for Channel 4,
and his work was also included in the entry which won the channel the
Emmy Award for International News in 2003.
听
Mark is married with four children and lives in London.
听
