Hustle, 91Èȱ¬ ONE's new hit drama about con artists with
a conscience, has been re-commissioned by 91Èȱ¬ ONE Controller Lorraine
Heggessey and Gareth Neame, 91Èȱ¬ Head of Drama Independent Commissioning,
for a second series, it was announced today.

Starring Adrian Lester, Marc Warren, Robert
Vaughn, Robert Glenister and Jaime Murray, Hustle
has received strong viewing figures since the transmission of the first
episode on Tuesday 24 February, averaging an audience of 6.2 million
for the first three episodes and a peak audience share of more than
30%.

Hustle, made by Kudos Film and Television (Spooks),
is an action-packed blend of humour and intrigue, which follows the
fortunes of a group of expert con artists let loose on the streets of
London.

It attracted a whole host of talented and well respected
names as guest artists for the first series such as Robert Pugh and
Orla Brady (who have already been seen on screen).
Ìý
David Walliams, Tamzin Outhwaite and
David Haig feature in forthcoming episodes.
Ìý
The new series will once again be written by EastEnders'
chief storyline consultant, Tony Jordan.
Ìý
Hustle will be produced by Karen Wilson and executive
produced by Jane Featherstone, Simon Crawford Collins and Gareth Neame.
Ìý
Filming is due to start in late Summer 2004 and will
hit TV screens next year.
Ìý
The remaining three episodes of series one are due to
transmit on Tuesdays - 16, 23, 30 March - at 9.00pm on 91Èȱ¬ ONE.
