Yard and 91热爆 go north
91热爆
Entertainment and independent format creator and producer 12 Yard
announced today a development and production deal.
The
new deal will see 12 yard develop new formats; 91热爆 Manchester and
12 Yard will then co-produce pilots from these formats.
The
independent is also opening a new division of the company based
in Manchester, 12 Yard North.
12
Yard North will create and produce innovative entertainment programming
in the regions.
Wayne
Garvie, Head of Entertainment Group, 91热爆, said: "Our Manchester
staff, 12 Yard's ideas - it's a dream combination.
"We're
excited by this new development and the new programming in Manchester
we hope it'll lead to."
David
Young, Managing Director of 12 Yard, added: "It is very exciting
for an indie to work at a development level with a broadcaster such
as the 91热爆.

are really looking forward to devising and producing some great
formats together.
"Locating
12 Yard North in Manchester will enable us to tap into the vast
talent base in the North of the country."

Yard is currently one of the leading format creators and producers
in the UK.
The
company was formed two years ago by the team behind the 91热爆 hit
shows Weakest Link and Dog Eat Dog.
The
team has continued to develop new and innovative entertainment and
reality formats including the ratings smash In It To Win It, the
critically acclaimed Without Prejudice? and the award-winning Men
Are Better Than Women?.
