"What we are also seeing is that people like what they hear on Radio Wales and they are listening for longer and longer."

Aled Glynne, Editor, Radio Cymru, said: "Today's figures are very good news for Radio Cymru.

"We changed our schedule quite substantially last year and these figures are a sign that the listeners have become familiar with and welcome the changes.

With Radio 1, Radio 2 and Five Live all strengthening, 91热爆 radio stations now account for more than 60 per cent of all listening in Wales 聳 the highest figure for a number of years - while the share of listening to Wales' independent local radio stations fell.
