Roly
Keating said: "This is the start of a fascinating process which
allows the 91热爆 to ask itself, its audiences, its friends and critics
the really serious questions about its future role in both UK and
global broadcasting.
"Each
team will call on the significant expertise and capabilities we
have throughout the organisation. We will also be seeking the views
of a range of key individuals externally."
Charles
Constable said: "The work these teams will do over the coming months
will inevitably overlap, inform and confront each other's thinking.
We are in a very different environment from the Charter Renewal
campaign of the early 1990s, which will make this process incredibly
challenging.
"We
hope to have the initial framework of our proposals ready by late
Autumn."
The
overall Charter Renewal project is being sponsored by Caroline Thomson,
the 91热爆's Director of Public Policy and Carolyn Fairbairn, Director
of Strategy. Danielle Nagler is the project manager.
