Picture
the scene: the sleepy village of Blackwater is preparing for the
wedding of Goldie Prior. The family is busy but excited and the
atmosphere is one of anticipation.
No
one could have guessed what happens next.
Tina
Wells, the vicar's wife, runs screaming from the Church. Catherine
Prior, the bride's sister, has been savagely attacked and dies on
the way to the hospital.
The
wedding plans are rocked by this sudden turn of events as the shadow
of murder hangs over Blackwater.
10,000
people applied to play The Murder Game, a show
where real people try to solve a fictional murder and win the game.
The
ten chosen investigators have all completed a week of special training
at a police college and they must use the skills they have learnt
to find out who the murderer is.
During
the case they will live together under the scrutiny of the cameras.
The lines of inquiry will take them to locations around the village,
where they must interview residents and suspects to find the identity
of the killer.
They
are guided through the case by real life detective ex-DCS Bob Taylor
who has hunted over 100 killers during his career with the West
Yorkshire Police Force. He is their judge, he sets their lines of
inquiry and they play by his rules.
In
each programme two investigators endure the terrifying Killer's
Game, one will return, one will not. There is a 拢25,000 reward
for the person who solves the case, but the investigators will have
to work together to decipher the clues and move the case forward.
The
Murder Game is a murder mystery show that thrusts the investigators
right into the middle of the crime scene. It also engages the viewer
who can keep up with the investigation on 91热爆 ONE and 91热爆 THREE.
Through
91热爆i and digital television, the audience can find all the resources
they need to become their own investigator.
The
interactive service for digital viewers will allow them to catch
up on any clues they may have missed, view exclusive interviews
with eliminated investigators, see news reports from Blackwater
and files on the investigators and murder suspects. This all adds
up to a truly gripping experience.
In
conjunction with the 91热爆 ONE series, 91热爆 THREE will be showing The
Murder Game: Inside HQ which offers exclusive insight into
whether personal politics affect the investigators' performance
and their decision making.
