Holmes comes home to 91热爆 Radio Nottingham
Presenter
John Holmes is set to re-join 91热爆 Radio Nottingham next month after
a 15 year absence - to take over the weekday afternoon programme
between 2.00 and 5.00pm.
John
has spent the last six years at 91热爆 Radio Derby, but as he's lived
in Nottingham for over 30 years, he's delighted to be "coming
home".
He
says: "After some most enjoyable and rewarding years at 91热爆
Radio Derby, I thought it couldn't get any better - and then I had
the chance to come to Radio Nottingham.
"I'm
delighted to be back home, broadcasting in my local area and about
my local area. It's a fantastic new challenge!"

Bettison, Managing Editor, 91热爆 Radio Nottingham, adds: "We're
pleased to welcome John back to 91热爆 Radio Nottingham. We feel the
time is right to bring a fresh sound to our schedule, and John will
do just that.
"He's
an experienced presenter whose approach to broadcasting will be
enjoyed by our listeners."
John
has over 30 years broadcasting experience in both television and
radio, and although he was born in Essex he has lived in Nottingham
since he attended the city's university in the late 1960s.
Current
afternoon presenter Brian Tansley will continue to present his nostalgia
programme every Sunday.

Radio Nottingham broadcasts on 95.5 and 103.8FM.
All the
91热爆's digital services are now available on ,
the new free-to-view digital terrestrial television service, as well
as on satellite and cable.
Freeview
offers the 91热爆's eight television channels as well as 11 91热爆 radio
networks.
