On
91热爆 News 24's HARDtalk tonight (Monday 3 March 2003), Tim Sebastian
interviews Abdullah
al Attiyah, President of Opec.
As
the preparations for war in Iraq intensify, so does the squabbling
over Iraq's oil. Who is going to get their hands on the world's
second largest oil reserves?
Abdullah
al Attiyah is the current President of Opec (Organisation of the
Petroleum Exporting Countries) and Qatar's Oil Minister.
With
only three Opec members now in the world's top 10 oil producers,
Tim Sebastian asks him about Opec's relevance and whether a war
in Iraq could bring about the end of Opec.
