Dillon's
diary
Government
security officers have uncovered (found under the bed) secret documents
(a diary).
If
it falls into the wrong hands (Flash), it could prove disastrous
(embarrassing) ... below is an extract from the hidden diary of
Dillon Phillips.
"Life
as the PM's son is not straightforward. It can be so embarrassing,
especially when Dad turns up at the school sports day in a helicopter
and the security guards start frisking the other parents; it's just
so totally not cool.
"As
for my older sister, Clare, she shows no respect for me at all.
She is endlessly unhelpful, always critical and never willing to
sell her homework.
"Mum's
high powered job keeps her busy and she actually gets cross when
I ask for help with homework projects. It's almost as if she doesn't
realise it's a Mum's job to do essays and maths and things for me.
"Who
are these 'international bankers' she claims to be talking to? How
can a 拢10 million deal be disrupted by a simple question about
the average rainfall in Bolivia?
"School
is great, well it is alright - oh, ok it is bearable. My friends
are cool, well most of them.
"Flash
is a pain, not as clever, talented, brave or anything as he thinks
he is, a bit of a freak really, but Geezer's alright, and Lightbulb.
"At
least at school I don't have to smile politely at presidents and
popes and other world leaders, like I do at home.
"Another
advantage of school is there's no Packer. Packer is Dad's strategist
but I think I could do a better job myself.
"Sometimes
Packer is right though, he was right to dismiss Dad's idea for an
extra hour of school every day just for boys. Will Dad ever get
real? This is 2003, I have better things to do with my time: gameboys,
roller-blading and watching hoover wars for example."
