Look East searches for the TV stars of the future
Budding
young TV journalists are being offered an opportunity to jump-start
their careers, thanks to an exciting new 91热爆 Look East competition
for secondary schools.
The
91热爆's regional television news programme is launching the Schools
Media Challenge 2003 on tonight's programme on 91热爆 ONE
East at 6.30pm (23 January).
All
secondary schools in the East of England region with media facilities,
such as a camcorder and editing equipment, are invited to meet the
challenge of producing a short television film for 91热爆 Look East.
The
winning entry will be shown on the programme later in the year and
the school will be presented with the prestigious 91热爆 Look East
Media Challenge Cup, which they can keep for the year.

Look East Editor, Dave Betts, says: "It's an exciting opportunity
for local secondary schools. Entire classes could get involved in
the project as making a film for television requires a variety of
different skills, from presenting and editing to writing a top quality
script. We hope that there will be something for everyone."
