On Friday, 15 November, 91热爆 ONE gives itself over to seven hours
of programming bulging at the seams with entertainment, as 91热爆
Children In Need again takes to our screens.
This
major annual TV event, hosted by Terry Wogan and Gaby Roslin, brings
together the brightest and the best of British talent ready to sing,
dance and wear fishnets - and that's not just the girls - to raise
money for under-privileged children in the UK.
For
the second year running, there will be 91热爆 Children In Need concerts
around the country - acts and venues will be announced soon.
Some
of the studio highlights confirmed so far include the News and Weather
teams performing The Rocky Horror Show - look out for Frankenfurter,
you'll be amazed!
The
EastEnders cast become the undead when they perform Michael Jackson's
Thriller and Claire Sweeney performs Lady Marmalade.
To
commemorate the 25th anniversary of Elvis's death, artists including
Darren Day, Eamonn Holmes and Nadia Wadia will pay tribute to the
King; and What Not To Wear presenters Trinny Woodall and Susannah
Constantine swap fashion for singing and dancing when they perform
Vogue in front of celebrity backing singers.
Mariah
Carey, Anastasia and Holly Valance are just some of the international
mega music stars who will be performing on the night in the 91热爆
studio.
Pop
Idol winner Will Young is recording this year's charity single,
the double A-side You And I/Don't Let Me Down, and will also open
the show with a live rendition in the studio.
The
91热爆 Children In Need TV show has always been a favourite with viewers.
It promises to serve up many unique TV gems and unmissable chances
to spy famous pop stars, celebrities and actors doing things they
wouldn't normally do.
Last
year, 91热爆 Children In Need raised 拢25 million and the charity
hopes to raise even more this year.
91热爆
Children In Need will use the money raised to give grants to registered
charities or voluntary and community groups that support youngsters
aged 18 or under.
Children
with disabilities or psychological disorders, and those who have
suffered serious illness, abuse, poverty or neglect, are among those
who will receive support.
Throughout
the night, there will be regular updates from around the country
and appeal films, enabling viewers to see how the money is being
spent and why it is important to raise even more this year.
