Naomi
Roper
Although
she is now a student in London, Naomi is originally from the Scottish
Borders where her parents still live. Naomi is 19 years old.
She has taught herself to play rhythm guitar and also plays piano
and violin.
Naomi
writes her own material which she describes as: "a mixture
of folk, indie, American Counting Crows type thing."
She
most admires Jimi Hendrix for guitar, Keith Jarrett for piano and
Nigel Kennedy for Violin.
She
describes her musical taste as passionate, versatile and varied.
Three
artists that have influenced her the most are Kula Shaker, Captain
Beefheart and his Magic Band and Van Morrison.
Naomi is currently studying for BA in Acting at E15 in Loughton,
Essex and she says her biggest acheivment was getting in to the
acting school.
Her
ambitions are to be a well renowned and respected singer/songwriter.
She would also like to do a film at some point.
She
is also into her motor racing encouraged by her dad and brother
and enjoys watching Grand Prix.
