reassures DTT viewers
In
the wake of ITV Digital switching off its pay services the 91热爆 will
today broadcast a public information announcement on 91热爆 ONE, 91热爆
TWO, 91热爆 Choice, 91热爆 FOUR and 91热爆 News 24 to reassure viewers of
its free-to-air services on the DTT (digital terrestrial television)
platform.
The
wording of the announcement is: "Following
the recent news about ITV Digital, the 91热爆 would like to reassure
ITV Digital customers that they'll still be able to watch all the
91热爆's digital channels on their equipment, including 91热爆 ONE, 91热爆
TWO, 91热爆 Choice, 91热爆 FOUR, 91热爆 News 24 and our two new children's
channels, C91热爆 and CBeebies. Other free-to-view channels should
also still be available."
The
91热爆 is seeking to ensure that all the 91热爆's free-to-view channels
and interactive services will continue to be available to all digital
terrestrial viewers. The 91热爆 believes there is still a future for
the digital terrestrial platform - where audiences get digital TV
through their rooftop aerials - and hopes the ITC and the Government
will be able to resolve its long-term future, in the public interest,
as soon as possible.
