Celebrates 2004 with 91热爆 Prime
91热爆
Prime, the great British entertainment channel, experienced a viewership
surge across Denmark as the nation crossed into New Year 2004.
In
figures released today, viewership on 91热爆 Prime on New Year's Eve
2004 increased by 133% in Denmark compared to New Year's Eve 2003.
This
covered the slot 22:00 to 07:00 during which British pop star Melanie
C hosted a 40th anniversary edition of Top of the Pops, especially
for 91热爆 Prime, counting down favourite acts from the show as voted
by viewers on the 91热爆 Prime website ().
Viewership on the channel peaked just after the New Year at 00:15.
Viewership
figures were also up compared to previous Wednesday ratings. 91热爆
Prime viewership was 167% higher on New Year's Eve than the previous
Wednesday, Christmas Eve.

Prime Head of Programming, David Weiland, said, "Top of the
Pops is the leading, most established popular music programme across
the world and its high profile line-up provided the perfect backdrop
to New Year celebrations across Europe and Africa."
The
number one Top of the Pops act of the past 40 years as voted by
viewers was Abba, followed in second place by John Lennon.
