for younger children, the Teletubbies LOOK! video is the second
of a new series of videos featuring new 10-minute "treat-sized"
episodes of Teletubbies Everywhere, together with the original Teletubbies
programme. Teletubbies LOOK! introduces first concepts with delightfully
simple and humorous '"screen games" about numbers, colours
and near and far.
Famed
for its inclusion of live-action inserts of children growing up
in different parts of the world, the two Teletubbies Everywhere
episodes in this film feature children flying kites in India and
collecting precious stones on a beach in Namibia. Children love
to see other children and these short films bring children closer
together from around the world.
For
older pre-schoolers, there's the Tweenies: Let's Play - an energy-packed
video where play is the name of the game!
The
Tweenies have lots of fun with Bella, Milo and Fizz teaching Jake
all about 'in' and 'out' by building an obstacle course in the playroom.
Once the Tweenies have all had a turn going through the long tunnel,
Jake knows all about 'in' and 'out'!!!
Fizz
and Milo love 'monkeying around' and pretend to be monkeys, jumping
up and down making noises. Bella and Jake think that monkeys can
bounce but Milo and Fizz think they only swing from trees - they
all learn something new when they watch a special programme about
monkeys.
They
also have great fun finding out about pushing and pulling with Doodles
coming to the rescue during a Tug of War game!!
The
video ends on a musical note with all of the Tweenies performing
their favourite dance.
The
Fimbles video, Fimbly Bimbly聟 Finding is FUN!, is ideal for
children two to four years of age and features three episodes from
the new television series: Sleeping Bag, Red Nose and Hairbrush.
In
Sleeping Bag, Fimbo finds a sleeping bag - and discovers that it's
a bed that travels with you, so you can sleep anywhere! He and Rockit
go on a trip but discover that finding the perfect place to sleep
isn't so easy, sleeping bag or no sleeping bag.
In
Red Nose, Baby Pom finds a red clowns nose and she is delighted
but Fimbo's Shimmy Shaker stops shaking and he is really down in
the dumps. What can Florrie, Baby Pom and Rockit do to cheer Fimbo
up? And will Fimbo's Shaker ever Shimmy again?
In
the Hairbrush episode, the Fimbles discover what you get if you
cross a hairbrush with a hedgehog. Florrie finds a hairbrush and
Baby Pom thinks it's a 'hair-hog'!
