Fans
Of The Hilarious Show Can Celebrate St. Paddy's Day And Complete
Their Collections With New DVD Set Hitting Stores March 4
On
March 4, fans of the uproarious clergy comedy Father Ted will receive
a blessing in digital form as 91热爆 Video releases Father Ted: The
Complete Series 3 on DVD. Originally aired from 1995-98, the laugh-out-loud
show featuring a group of scheming, vice-riddled priests raised
the ire of some Catholics with its irreverent scenarios. However,
the warmth and light touch of the series has won over viewers, journalists
and critics, including the New York Post, who called the series
"a real charmer", and admitted that "the more Catholic
you are, the more you'll enjoy it".
Currently
airing on PBS and 91热爆 America, Father Ted has a broad fan base that
includes celebrities such as Cher ("Father Ted is the most
hysterical show I ever saw.") and Moby ("One of the funniest
shows to ever be on the TV.").
Father
Ted: The Complete Series 3 marks the show's final season - Dermot
Morgan, who played the title character, died shortly after filming
the last episode. Fans will delight in reliving some of the wildest
plots imaginable and some of the zaniest moments ever on TV. Heaven-sent
extras include cast and writer interviews, featurettes and a bonus
episode: the DVD debut of the hour-long holiday special, "A
Christmassy Ted." Members of Father Ted's congregation who
have been clamoring to complete their Father Ted DVD collection
can take home the new set for the suggested retail price of $34.98.

About
Father Ted
A botched wedding, a tendency to drink and some "financial
irregularities" lead to the exile of Fathers Dougal, Jack,
and Ted, respectively. The three priests were sent to Craggy Island
- a twisted lump of rock off the coast of Ireland as penance for
their daft vices. With the help of the world's most hospitable housekeeper
Mrs. Doyle, the three tend to a demented flock of island dwellers
and try to make a heaven out of their rocky piece of hell. Originally
aired in 1996 on Channel 4 in the UK, Father Ted has amassed a devoted
fan base over its three seasons on television.
