RAC
guide to inspected properties in Great Britain and Ireland
As
holidaymakers return to the countryside for short breaks and holidays,
91热爆 Worldwide publishes the latest edition of the highly respected
RAC Guide to Inspected Properties, Hotels and Bed and Breakfast
2002. (Published February 25th, price 拢14.99)
Designed
for easy use and to fit into the glove compartment or door pocket
of the car, this 700-page comprehensive and objective Guide includes
Ordnance Survey maps, which pinpoint the location of each inspected
hotel and B&B, and features on what to do and see in each area.
All of the 3,000 hotels and B&Bs in the Guide are visited and
checked for quality by an RAC inspector working incognito, and to
strict and consistent standards.
All
accommodation is rated, with special awards given for outstanding
service and quality of dining, and is organised by region, then
listed alphabetically by county, town and award type, so users can
go straight to the pages they need. The unique RAC Little Gem award
is given to B&Bs and guesthouses, which achieve the very height
of excellence, with many personally owned and managed with great
dedication and enthusiasm. The Dining Award focuses on both good
food and the entire dining experience, from ambience to warmth of
welcome, quality of the wine list and knowledge of serving staff.
All
levels of provision are catered for, from the luxurious five star
Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath (拢255 for a double room), and
Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons in Oxfordshire (拢260) to Little
Gem winner, the Old Coach House in Blackpool (拢60).
RAC
first began recommending hotels to its members in 1904, at the dawn
of motoring.
