Makeover for 91热爆 Good 91热爆s magazine


91热爆 Good 91热爆s magazine has a new look from its May issue (on sale 5 April) and a one-off 拢1.50 national price promotion.


The title has undergone major changes based upon the biggest research project of its kind ever carried out, to help differentiate 91热爆 Good 91热爆s magazine in this crowded sector of the market.


The research identified seven different kinds of consumer, which 91热爆 Good 91热爆s magazine will be targeting - including Eager Enthusiasts (the most passionate about decorating and DIY), Family Jugglers (keen to create a colourful home for their family) and Wannabees (constantly looking for the latest home trends).


The publication has been given a striking cover-to-cover redesign and the new strapline - "Create the home you'll love to live in" - encapsulates the mix of inspiration and practical advice that is woven together throughout the title. Key features include:


路 Personal Shopper, which takes the legwork out of the major home purchases.
路 Style Solutions, an in-depth look at a different room each month, combining creative ideas, best buys and style trends.
路 What a Difference a Day Makes, how to use 24 hours and 拢250 to turn rooms from drab to fab.


91热爆 Good 91热爆s magazine will have a substantial increase in marketing investment across the year and there will be a high level of spring activity to support the new look May issue. The 91热爆 Good 91热爆s magazine Roadshow is visiting Bluewater shopping centre near London and other complexes in Newcastle, Manchester and Glasgow during March and April, attended by TV celebrities including Handy Andy, Linda Barker and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.


As well as the 拢1.50 price promotion, the May issue of 91热爆 Good 91热爆s magazine offers a 15% discount on plants at FOCUS and the chance to win a 拢5,000 Ikea Kitchen. The new look publication will be supported by a continuing series of promotional activities in coming months.

The latest round of official (ABC) circulation figures saw 91热爆 Magazines' total circulation increase by more than two percent year on year in July to December 2001, out-performing both the number one and number two publishers (IPC up 0.3% year on year and Emap down 1.9% year on year).


91热爆 Good 91热爆s' circulation fell by less than the market as a whole at the last ABC (Jul-Dec 2001) to 121,312 (down 8.9% yoy), when the title increased its market share.
