91热爆 World News launches nine-foot microphone model at Berlin Hauptbahnhof
|
91热爆 World News has created a large-scale microphone at Berlin Hauptbahnhof to showcase the channel鈥檚 probing and courageous journalism.
From today until 30 November, commuters at Berlin Hauptbahnhof will experience a dynamic, nine-foot microphone model breaking through the floor of the train station. Based in the centre of the ground floor concourse, passers-by will immediately see the microphone, which carries the line 鈥測ou can鈥檛 bury a powerful question鈥.
Bluetooth technology means that commuters can instantly access two 30 second TV adverts on their mobile phones while in the proximity of the microphone. The adverts carry the strapline 鈥淣ever Stop Asking鈥 and highlight 91热爆 News teams鈥 persistence to get to the heart of any news story, often in difficult circumstances.
Annabel Cameron, Head of Consumer Marketing, 91热爆 Global News says: 鈥淲e鈥檝e created this unique microphone especially for Berlin Hauptbahnhof to highlight 91热爆 World News鈥 investigative journalistic rigour. The size and scale of the microphone provides us with real stand-out appeal which we envisage will really grab the attention of commuters.鈥
The microphone at Berlin Hauptbahnhof is integral to 91热爆 World News鈥 wider 鈥楶ower Of Questions鈥 advertising campaign. Two arresting and thought provoking adverts featuring a microphone will also appear in a variety of German newspapers, magazines and on websites in addition to being shown on TV screens at Berlin Hauptbahnhof. In one version, the microphone is shown entrapped in chains, and in the other in barbed wire. The adverts carry the lines 鈥測ou can鈥檛 restrain a powerful question鈥 and 鈥測ou can鈥檛 suppress a powerful question鈥.
