But how do you choose from the abundance of books on the market ...something old, something classic, something new?听 Well, the afternoon show is taking the hard work out of it with the help of our book expert, Brian Pattinson.听 Irish-born Brian has been bookselling in Oxford and Thame for over 30 years.听 Every month he will give us his top five favourite books.听 We want one person every month to review a book, which he will give you for your effort!

Brian has been a regular reviewer for 91热爆 Radio Oxford and Oxford Television.听 His bookshop in Thame was one of the first specialist children's bookshops in the country, known then as The Red House but now as The Book House.听 He also has a bookshop in Summertown, North Oxford.听 Brian has lived in the Oxfordshire village of Great Milton for 30 years with his wife Kate and has four grown-up children.
