World Cup correspondents: Germany

Germany are not the team they used to be as found out by England last September.

Germany were once giants of international football. Sadly for them, they don't have the strongest side in the World Cup.

Nottingham student, Martin Kroner gives us a brief look at Germany's chances in the World Cup.

How is your country preparing for the World Cup?

A lot of TV commercials with football content are being produced.

How do you think Germany will do in the World Cup?

They will not make it to the final stages of the competition.

Who's your best player and why?

Oliver Kahn is our best player - he's the only Player on international niveau.

What do you think to the England side?

It will be hard without David Beckham but they will for sure do better then the German team.

Where will you be watching the matches?

I dont know when I am still in England I will watch them here, otherwise back in Germany.
