The Queen's visit to Nottingham

The Queen arrives at the Nottingham ice centre

Nottingham enjoyed a right royal occasion when Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Phillip visited the city.

As part of their Golden Jubilee celebrations they officially opened the Nottingham Ice Centre before watching a special ice gala which had been choreographed by Nottingham's most famous sporting pairing - Torvill and Dean.
