Robin
Hood's Treasure Hunt
Tuesday 29 July 2.30pm, Visitor Centre The Sheriff thought his treasure would be safe from the
outlaws if he hid it in the forest, what a fool! With your help
Robin is hoping to find the lot and give it to the poor. Pick
up a treasure map from Robin then search the forest. A certificate
will be awarded to all successful treasure hunters. A small
charge will be made. |
Silk
Painting Workshop
Wednesday 30 July, 11am – 1pm A chance for adults to Join Next Stage for a silk painting
session where you will produce your own piece of artwork to
take home with you. £3 per person. Places are limited so advance

Falconry
Display

Enjoy the skills of Ye Olde Red Tail Falconry as they fly falcons,
hawks and owls. A spectacular show with the chance to get involved.

A rare opportunity to see the stunt riders of the Legends re-enactment
group practice their horsemanship and quintaine skills, before
the weekend jousting tourneys. |
Forest
Feast 7.00 - 9.00pm
Robin has been captured by the Sheriff and his soldiers! Wander
the paths of Sherwood and solve the clues left with Robin’s
supporters to secure his release. With clues completed enjoy
a tasty peasant supper and find out if Robin has been saved.

Craft Fayre
Thurs, Fri, Sat 11am - 4pm each day at the Major Oak Admire the skills of costumed characters as they demonstrate
ancient crafts in the traditional surrounds of a legendary forest.
In between browsing the stalls enjoy traditional medieval music
as well as jesting, juggling and other medieval mayhem! |
Tile Making Workshops
Thurs 11.30am - 12.30pm & 2pm - 3pm
Join Next Stage to make your own woodland tile using clay,
plaster and materials from the forest to take home with you.

Fri 1 August 2.30pm, Visitor Centre Purchase your hunting permit from the Sheriff before entering
the depths of the forest to search out Robin and his outlaws.
A small charge will be made and there is a certificate for all

and Festa. Try juggling, stilt walking and diablo throwing!

jousting tournaments featuring the talented Legends reenactment
group. See Robin battle it out with the Sheriff and his men.

Evening of Medieval Merriment Sat 2 August 7.30 – 10pm
Enjoy an evening of entertainment with Robin, his outlaws and
other Festival favourites. There’ll be juggling, jesting, music
and general medieval mayhem. A good time will be had by all!

Have a Go Archery
