I got married on August 9th of this year.
My wife Donna is the early years Co-ordinator for SureStart in the
Meadows.
I've been coaching American football for almost 10 years. It
all started when I saw it on TV in the mid 80’s and went along to
my local youth team.
I fell in love with the game and things
went from there. I stopped playing a couple of years ago.
I don’t get paid for coaching so I have to go to work - I’m
a Mechanical Engineer. As far as coaching goes I get a buzz off
seeing the players develop on and off the field.
It’s good to give something back to the
game. The only downside is it does take a lot of time and effort
but it’s worth it.

I’ve never lived in the city centre but
I drive around Nottingham a lot and I think the traffic has got
much worse. It’s also turned into a Mecca for hen and stag parties,
which is good for business.
I think each generation is very different and therefore change
is inevitable. On the whole, though, I think the people of Nottingham
are generally very friendly and have a great sense of humour, I
don’t think that's changed much. We love our sport too.
I work long hours and coach American Football
three or four times a week so my ‘spare’ time is very limited. If
I have any, my wife usually drags me round the shops!

If we go abroad we’ll go to Spain or somewhere
on a late deal. We also like to get weekends away in this country,
there’s so many great places within a few hours drive.
I think Nottingham is a great place, there's something for
everyone.
Come down and watch a game...
