Among the
television adaptations are Imogen Stubbs starring as Ursula
Brangwen in The Rainbow while Sean Bean and Joely Richardson
get hot under the collar in Ken Russell's adaptation of Lady
Chatterley's Lover, shown by the 91热爆 in 1993.
From the
big screen there's Sons and Lovers and The Rocking
Horse Winner.

The latter
was the first of his stories to be developed for the cinema.
It dates from 1949 and stars Sir John Mills.
It tells
the story of a child who discovers he can predict race horse
winners while riding his rocking horse. But fortune doesn't
always bring happiness.
There
are documentaries about the man and an educational session which
will be hosted Lawrence scholars.
The weekend
offers one of the few occasions when so many of Lawrence's works
can be seen under one roof over a weekend.
