Alpine
University seems a nice enough place for student filmmakers
to ply their trade. That is until a Psycho turns up and starts
reducing the intake.
The original
Urban Legend came out two years ago. It's plot was
based around those horror stories which have passed into folklore.
The difference was, in the movie the legends became reality
and grizzly killings resulted.

Yeah,
a broken window, a body and plenty of blood but I wouldn't
really worry |
It's much
the same in Final Cut except the urban legends might
not be as familiar.
The students
are competing for the Hitchcock award. The winner will almost
certainly make it to Hollywood.
Amy (Jennifer
Morrison) has a great idea to make a psychological thriller
about urban legends. The only problem is, her film crew start
disappearing with regularity and no one seems particularly
bothered.

Come
back. It's only a scratch |
It's a
typical slasher film which tries to borrow from Hitchcock
but doesn't come close to the Master of Suspense, although
fans will notice attempts to borrow from movies like Vertigo.
If you
like Scream and Halloween then you'll probably
like this. Be warned, however, remember Joey Lawrence, one
time pop star. He stars in this, only he's transformed himself
into Joseph. He's fooling no one!!
