Day one to day fiveWork began on transforming Old Market Square on Monday 13 July. See how the beach is coming along by watching the video. The story behind the beachOld Market Square is being turned into a seaside playground this summer. As well as the beach there'll be a large paddling pool, beach cafes, bucket and spades stalls and fairground rides. Along Long Row promenade there'll also be deck chairs and sun loungers to seat 200 people.
