Are you in danger of losing it at times? Join us on the 91Èȱ¬ Radio York Bus for some tips on how to cope with your anger. It’s all part of a new 91Èȱ¬ series... Are you Angry?Anger affects us all in every day life from road rage to anger in families. Sometimes we can’t do anything about it other than blow our top.Ìý What makes you angry? Can you spot the triggers and manage it so that your anger doesn’t become more serious and even lead to mental health problems? Join our 91Èȱ¬ Bus in St. Sampson’s Square on Thursday 2nd October from 11.00am to discover how you can cope with your anger or stress issues. ‘Losing it’In a new season of programmes on 91Èȱ¬ Two on Tuesday 23rd and 30th September at 9.00pm, Gryff Rhys-Jones looks at what makes us angry and how to deal with it. It’s all part of the 91Èȱ¬â€™s headroom campaign around mental health issues encouraging you to look after your mental well-being. The 91Èȱ¬ has commissioned a survey in North Yorkshire about anger. We’ve asked people to identify what makes them angry and what they do to calm down.Ìý You can hear the results of our survey on Reynolds & Co at Breakfast at 8am on 91Èȱ¬ Radio York on Wednesday Sept 24th.ÌýWe’d like you to tell us what makes you lose it and how you relax, chill out and calm down. 91Èȱ¬ Radio York ‘Losing it’ DayÌýAs part of the Headroom season, 91Èȱ¬ Radio York will be in St. Sampson’s Square, York on Thursday 2nd October from 11.00am until 3.30pm. You can come and find out more about coping with stress and anger issues by taking part in some free reiki, Indian head massage and tai-chi sessions with qualified therapists and practitioners to help you cope with the stresses of the day. 91Èȱ¬ Radio York’s Jonathan Cowap will be broadcasting ‘live’ from the 91Èȱ¬ Bus in St. Sampson’s Square from 12.00pm looking at how we cope with anger and what causes us to lose it. Jonathan will also be having a taste of some of the techniques on offer to enable us to avoid that ‘boiling point’ which causes us to lose it. Why not join us?
