You bought it full of good intentions, but rode it only once or twice? ‘0-30 in Three Months’ is a new cycling project in Harrogate, aimed at helping people prise their unused bike out of the shed! ‘0-30 in 3 Months’ is a new cycling project in Harrogate for people who rarely cycle further than the nearest shops. It's also for would-be cyclists put off by the traffic, who are unfit or want to lose weight. Cyclist riding from Swaledale into Cumbria. Organiser Yvonne Skelton, Secretary of the Cyclists Touring Club, North Yorkshire, and a member of Harrogate Wheel Easy explains: "We’ll meet every Saturday at 2pm, setting out from Hornbeam Park Railway Station car park. Our first ride will be on Saturday 23rd February. We will do a repeat run on 1st March just in case people can’t make the first date. In March the group will do at least two rides up to 10 miles, in April two rides up to 20 miles. The target in May is one ride of 25 and one of 30 miles. All rides are on quiet lanes and cycle paths as far as possible, and led by experienced cyclists who will give tips before and during the rides.
