After talking my mouth off at a less than amazing interview, I was somehow offered the post as this years Blast Arts Reporter for North Yorkshire. My very first assignment was a two day training weekend down at 91热爆 Bristol. The Next Big Things! The CompetitionSat in a room with fancy glass doors and shiny equipment and these people I aspired to be, it was strange. I was looking around a room of fellow Blast Reporters, and finally realising that I was one of them. I've always been a writer. Just a girl scarily obsessed with music. Someone with a passion for media, and a real enthusiasm for my local community. Now, I was all these things, but with one big difference - I didn't feel like the only one!
Learning For LifeOver the two says, we were shown all the tricks of the trade - from how to handle interviews in front of the camera, to the all-important risk assessment requirements. Yes, working in the media does involve paperwork!
