This year marks the 90th anniversary of the end of World War I. In honour of this, there are free events across the country, online activities and special broadcasts.

Ìý

Lance Corporal, Thomas Diver, received the Military Medal for gallantry. He volunteered when he was just 17 years old, and died a few years later in the closing stages of the war, on 29 September 1918.
